We are starting our last project: ¨Old Spooks-New Tales¨.
Is it possible to build the future?
New ideas help us build a better future and we, 6th graders, the future-creators have this special power.
We are going to learn about ¨History¨ through different subjects during this last term in Jakintza Ikastola and then use our collective knowledge to create this brighter future not only through science and technology, but also trough art, design, dance, literature and acting.
New ideas help us build a better future so go ahead and refresh your ideas!
In this unit, in English class, we are going to look at old spooky stories in order to learn from them and then create something new; your own spooky story first, and then the adapted script of that story for the puppet show that is going to be presented through the shadow puppet theater that we are going to create in art class.
We will be looking at spooky characters, stories, poems and songs and reflect on story-structure and language to produce a story.
We are, then, going to adapt the story and create dialogues and puppets.
As the final task we will present our PUPPET SHOWS.
This is going to be a scary adventure and we are excited to start shivering.
