LH6.2- JUNIOR CHEFS: RECIPES FROM HOME AND ABROAD

Hi Again!! 

Together with our Bon Voyage collective project, we,  LH6.2- Junior Chefs, will be looking at how people try to make their lives better. Here and there. 

Food and cooking play a very important part in our daily lives and in our health and survival. But what food is good for us? How do we prepare it? How do we talk about it? 

Cooking  is going to take part of our final task; cooking  a dish that we like , describing it and presenting it, and then keeping the recipe in the travelling suitcase that will include our cross-curricular creations. 

Here, in the blog, we will be uploading information, videos, songs, exercises and else; as usual.

Remember to use the material twice a week at least.

                           FINAL PROJECT

           ENGLISH EXPERIENCE-LH6 2024

               .        

Our 6th graders gave a nice closure to the second term concepts worked in English and Arts & Crafts classes. 

On this occasion they participated in two workshops; 

- A cooking workshop (at Mimo school) where they cooked talos, makis and fruit brochettes in a professional space  with professional cooks. 

and ..

- A Musical- Painting workshop with Ece Ozturk,  an American creative educator that  came  to school to make our kids  wet  their hand brushes and rollers on waterpaint, 

tempera and markers, while immersing in different music styles and releasing their feelings and creativity.

Everything was held in English and we all enjoyed it a lot.  It was definitely a  special day and we will keep a great memory.

Gure 6 mailakoek itxiera polita eman zioten aurreko asteartean bigarren hiruhilean  ingeleseko saioetan eta plastikan (ingelesez) landuriko kontzeptuei.

Oraingoan bi tailerretan parte hartu zuten; 

- Sukaldaritza tailerra (Mimo eskolan) non taloak, makiak eta fruta-burruntziak kozinatu zituzten sukaldari profesionalekin, sukalde profesional batean eta..

- Musika-Margoketa tailerra Ece Ozturk sormen hezitzaile Estatu Batuarrarekin. Azken hau eskolara bertaratu zen eta ixipu, esku eta arrabolak akuarela, tenpera eta rotulkietan busti zituzten, musika ezberdinetan murgildurik beraien sentimendu eta sormena aske uzten zuten bitartean.

Guztia ingelesez eta guztia gogotsu. Egun berezia izan zen benetan. Oso pozik aritu ziren eta oroitzapen ederra gordeko dugu danok.

Nuestr@s alumn@s de sexto dieron un bonito cierre a los conceptos de cocina y de arte trabajados en inglés y en plástica (en inglés) durante  el segundo trimestre. 
En esta ocasión participaron en dos talleres. 

- Uno de cocina (en la escuela Mimo) donde cocinaron talos, makis y brochetas de frutas 

en un espacio profesional con cocineros profesionales,y..

-  El otro de Pintura-Musical con Ece Ozturk, educadora creativa estadounidense. 

Esta última acudió a la escuela y l@s jóvenes disfrutaron muchísimo mientras mojaban  los pinceles, las manos y los rodillos en acuarela, tempera y rotuladores de todos los colores, mientras se sumergían en diferentes músicas y se dejaban llevar por  sus sentimientos y su creatividad.

Todo ello en inglés y todo con muchísimas ganas. Fue un día muy especial. L@s vimos realmente content@s  y guardaremos un bonito recuerdo.
